Detroit Zoo - Dynamic new educational programs are taking place at the Ford Education Center. The Detroit Zoo is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Woodward Avenue and Ten Mile Road (I-696) in Royal Oak.

Detroit Public Library/Conely Branch - The Conely Branch Library on Detroit's southwest side is located Martin St. just south of Michigan Ave.  Website includes online catalog, program and event schedule information.

The Henry Ford - Visit the Henry Ford website, a comprehensive resource for the Henry Ford Museum, Henry Ford Village, Imax Theatre and Ford Rouge Factory Tour.

Detroit Institute of Arts - The DIA is the fifth-largest fine arts museum in the U.S. with holdings of over 60,000 works.

Michigan Science Center - Includes over 25 hands on exhibits offering live interactive science demonstrations.

Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History - Dedicated to the preservation and presentation of African and African-American history and culture.

The Detroit Historical Meseum - The Detroit Historical Museum offers the widest range of exhibits and educational programs.

Brainpop - Animated Science, Social Studies ad English movies, comic strips, activity pages and 24 hour homework assistance via email for Kids.  Students from Hope of Detroit Academy may login and explore Brainpop.  Please obtain login and password from your classroom teacher.

Study Island - Study Island is a leading academic software provider of standards-based assessment, instruction, and test preparation e-learning programs.  Please obtain login and password from your classroom teacher.

Learning A-Z - Reading websites are designed to improve reading performance. They include
ReadingA-Z.com, Raz-Kids.com, VocabularyA-Z.com, and Reading-Tutors.com.  Please obtain login and password from your classroom teacher.

Michigan Kids! - With an overview of interesting sights, the natural environment, state government and history for the state of Michigan.

NASA Kids' Club - The best place for kids interested in space, science, rockets, astronauts and the solar system.

Brain Teasers - Test your skills with this weekly series of problems. Includes links to last week's questions and answers.

PBS Kids! - Information for all PBS kids' shows, including Arthur, Barney and Teletubbies.

The Library of Congress - is the nation's oldest federal cultural institution, and it serves as the research arm of Congress.

National Geographic Kids - Be a National Geographic kid! Find tons of games, e-mail postcards, photographs, pictures, animal facts, cool links, NG Kids Magazine stories and more.
